Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in event planning catering coordination or a related field
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • serve as the primary point of contact for private events and catering inquiries
  • work closely with engagement team members and manager to book events and coordinate schedules
  • respond promptly to event requests by providing detailed service and menu information
  • collaborate with clients to understand event needs and budgets
  • coordinate with culinary team on customized menus and dietary requirements
  • oversee room reservations, setup, design, and audiovisual requirements
  • maintain updated event and room booking calendars
  • develop event timelines and production schedules
  • coordinate event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • liaise with vendors, culinary, and suppliers for smooth operations
  • build and maintain strong resident and client relationships
  • conduct post-event evaluations and address concerns
  • establish and sustain quality assurance and process improvement
  • facilitate weekly banquets event order meetings
  • coordinate booking speakers and contribute to engagement catalogs
