Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in sales, marketing, outreach, higher education, public relations, or fundraising
- Or associates degree with four years of experience in similar fields
- Ability to manage and train staff
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work outside regular hours when needed
- Ability to produce presentations and conduct tours
- Competence in coordinating events and community outreach
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Eligibility to work lawfully in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Two years of combined experience in sales, marketing, outreach, higher education, public relations, or fundraising
- Associates degree with four years of relevant experience considered
- Demonstrated ability in critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Experience in event planning preferred
- Prior experience in a community college setting preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous
- Strong presentation and communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee staff and student ambassadors, prioritize and assign work, conduct performance evaluations, ensure staff training, enforce policies and procedures, maintain a safe working environment, make hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations
- Identify, direct, and promote public affairs and strategic community outreach programs and sales-related efforts
- Collaborate with staff to use subject matter experts to promote and recruit for programs
- Maintain working relationships with program staff to share program information
- Maintain focus on recruiting students into programs
- Implement several on- and off-campus events, schedule and conduct campus tours, assist with college mascot activities
- Assist and communicate with prospective students during admissions and onboarding processes
- Produce and present written and oral presentations to diverse groups including potential students, employers, industry leaders, and community organizations
- Work with academic, sales, program, and marketing teams to analyze and refine recruitment strategies
- Represent CNM and programs at public events, including outside regular hours
- Manage relationships with important partners including parents, schools, and community organizations
- Document and analyze student recruitment and outreach efforts
- Identify and develop collaborations with local companies for recruitment and placement
- Build networking relationships with industry partners to maintain program competencies
- Implement and improve New Student Orientation presentations, manage online orientation platforms
- Demonstrate critical thinking, tolerance of ambiguity, and strong interpersonal skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
