Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of related work experience
- Willingness to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to read and verify information in various formats
- Ability to use computers and point-of-sale systems
- Good communication skills with ability to use electronic communication devices
- Ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Must comply with company policies, including safety and confidentiality
- Must maintain professional appearance and uniform
- Must be able to work on-site at Sheraton Boston Hotel
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist other departments when necessary to ensure optimal guest service
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures
- Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods or the entire work shift
- Read and visually verify information in various formats including small print
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems
- Communicate with other employees using electronic devices such as pagers, two-way radios, and email
- Engage guests in conversations about their stay, hotel services, and local attractions
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Greet and recognize guests according to company standards, anticipate and meet their service needs, assist disabled persons, and express genuine appreciation to guests
- Use clear and professional language in conversations, accurately prepare and review written documents, and answer phones following proper protocol
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, support the team to achieve common goals, and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns
- Move, lift, push, pull, and locate objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
