Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in event coordination or related customer service roles
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to interact positively with diverse customers and team members
  • flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • compliance with all federal, state, and local legal job requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate event details effectively with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including responding to emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
  • create and implement backup or emergency plans for events
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • assist customers with product location and provide shopping solutions
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • maintain merchandise recovery and perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
