Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain before first shift
  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in high-volume situations

Job Duties

  • Set up, stock, and break down bar stations for weddings and private events
  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails according to event menus and venue standards
  • Verify guest identification and comply with all state and local alcohol service laws
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the event
  • Provide friendly, polished, and professional guest service at all times
  • Communicate effectively with Banquet Captains and Event Managers during service
  • Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service
  • Handle cash and/or point-of-sale systems accurately when applicable
  • Assist with end-of-event breakdown and restocking as needed
