Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in theatre, performing arts, production, hospitality, communications, business, or related field
  • minimum 3 years experience in dance, theater, entertainment production, or event planning
  • ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work long hours and travel as required
  • valid US driver’s license
  • willingness to drive rental vehicles
  • comfortable with physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to share accommodations during travel

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in dance, theater, entertainment production, or event planning
  • bachelor’s degree in theatre, performing arts, production, hospitality, communications, business, or related field
  • ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • experience with technical theater, broadcasting, touring, and/or film/TV production
  • proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS and MS Office Suite with strong Excel skills
  • knowledge of Asana Project Management software is a plus
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong self-management and accountability
  • high accuracy and attention to detail
  • exceptional time management, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • ability to work long hours with a positive attitude
  • valid US driver’s license and willingness to drive rental vehicles

Job Duties

  • Conduct venue research and secure bookings
  • review and negotiate preliminary contracts
  • manage venue show advancement and communications
  • coordinate team efforts and billing reviews
  • maintain venue management software and documentation
  • ensure certificate of insurance (COI) submissions and vendor coordination
  • provide on-event management including stage management, awards coordination, boutique sales, media, social media, and leadership roles
