Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in event technology project management or relevant role
  • Proven experience managing high-touch projects or events from concept to execution
  • Experience with corporate event tools such as Rainfocus, Stova, Swoogo, Cvent, or Eventbase
  • Ability to travel up to 20% including air travel and overnight stays
  • Willingness to work outside standard business hours when necessary
  • Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work under high stress in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Capacity to lead and work collaboratively with diverse teams and clients

  • Has strong reasoning skills and can solve practical problems with limited standardization

Job Duties

  • Works as workstream lead on large events (approximately 10,000 in person, 200,000 digital)
  • Independently manages and supervises all assigned tasks on a variety of event types for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Consults clients on registration website builds and digital tool configuration and participates in scoping of custom events
  • Creates a workback timeline and ensures the timeline is followed
  • Creates and maintains documentation and manages content for registration websites and digital tools
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using new and existing digital tools and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Understands digital event and registration areas (finance, housing, web) and communicates effectively with clients
  • Leads and documents complex client meetings
  • Demonstrates event platform functionality through demos
  • Completes projects within hourly goals and budgets
  • Participates in internal trainings and suggests process improvements
  • Uses advanced Excel skills to create and present reports
  • Manages onsite registration including kiosks, badge printers, and giveaways
  • Supervises onsite team and acts as client point of contact
  • Develops attendee support plans
  • Understands and creates badge security and risk mitigation plans
  • Adapts quickly to changing circumstances requiring plan modifications
