Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience required
  • Valid driver license with a clear driving record of at least two years
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience preferred
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Valid driver license with clear driving record for at least two years
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Job Duties

  • Provide technical and logistical consultation for event planning and event execution
  • Coordinate equipment needs for events with clients and provide on-site expertise during events
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of various audio and video equipment including microphones, sound reinforcement, video projection, screens, rigging, recording equipment, cameras, mixing boards, cabling
  • Utilize strong background in information technology including computers and event software such as PowerPoint, Pro Presenter, image mag, Windows, IOS
  • Provide overflow technical support in classrooms and non-event spaces across campus
  • Manage inventory and maintenance of Institutional Events technical and logistical equipment
  • Assist with maintenance of Institutional Events vehicle fleet
  • Hire, train, and supervise student workers to support programming needs of events
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
