Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in the AV industry
- Advanced knowledge of AV set-ups and strikes
- Background in customer service or hospitality
- Certification in AV technology or related courses preferred
- Ability to work long hours on feet
- Capability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a varied schedule
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in the AV industry
- Advanced knowledge and experience with AV set-ups and strikes
- Background in customer service or hospitality
- Certification in AV technology or related courses preferred
- Knowledgeable in audio equipment including microphones, speakers, sound systems, and channel mixers
- Proficient in video equipment such as LCD, LED, projectors, screens, and monitors
- Familiar with lighting equipment including GOBO, gels, uplighting, and stage lighting kits
- Advanced computer skills on both PC and Mac software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work long hours on feet
- Capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a varied schedule
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Significantly contribute to the effective management of the day-to-day operations according to company procedures
- Timely and accurate set-up and strike of equipment for client functions according to company guidelines
- Continually increase audiovisual skills and knowledge
- Maintain and cultivate positive public relations with Hotel account
- Maintain positive employee relations, strong team-player orientation, and communication standards
- Effectively utilize the company business software
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self
- Plan ahead effectively
- Manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills
- Analyze problems to find solutions
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned
