Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years’ experience in event production or corporate event management
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and labor crews
- Proficiency with event design software such as AutoCAD and Vectorworks
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various temperature conditions
- Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel as required
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years experience managing and directing corporate special events
- Proven leadership, management, and accountability skills
- Expertise with budgets exceeding $500,000
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Vectorworks design software
- Knowledgeable in the latest event technologies and their integration
- Experience managing labor crews of 20 or more individuals
- Strong project management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to exhibit sound judgment and decision-making
- Availability for extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call
- Physical capability to handle demanding work conditions
Job Duties
- Plan and execute corporate special events from concept through load out
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Business Development, Finance, and Creative to ensure seamless project delivery
- Source, manage and liaise with vendors and partners including audio-visual teams
- Oversee onsite event production, managing part-time AV technicians and union labor
- Track and reconcile project budgets and expenses, communicating scope changes to account managers
- Develop and implement project plans and hold partners accountable
- Provide immediate response and solutions during events and maintain high service quality
- Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to staff
- Ensure adherence to department protocols and continuous improvement initiatives
