Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two years related experience including some supervisory role
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Ability to direct and manage others
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as measuring
- Physical ability to stand, stoop, operate equipment and lift
- Familiarity with campus safety guidelines
- Knowledge of safety and security precautions

Job Duties
- Demonstrates and executes working knowledge of space configuration and event management software
- Demonstrates knowledge of equipment, materials and methods required for job performance
- Understands meeting room capacities and uses approved procedures to achieve room setup specifications
- Quality checks event setups to ensure accuracy
- Responsible for meeting cleaning standards for areas of responsibility
- Executes event setup change requests in a timely and professional manner
- Demonstrates ability to retain, train and schedule part-time student staff effectively
- Addresses performance issues promptly within guidelines
- Completes all work using safe work habits and methods to prevent injuries
- Works in harmony with others through positive and courteous interactions
- Identifies and solves problems associated with event setups
- Exhibits conservation and responsibility in the use of university resources
- Conducts annual equipment and furniture inventory for the department
- Coordinates event setups and delivers event equipment to required locations
