Job Requirements

  • Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively
  • must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
  • must be able to climb up and down a ladder
  • ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments
  • reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively
  • janitor/cleaning experience is a plus
  • supervising experience is a plus
  • bilingual (Spanish/English)

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan, schedule and execute cleaning operations for Event Shift
  • report to site at least one hour prior to staff report time
  • ensure all supplies, equipment and labor are available to complete assigned tasks
  • assign team leaders to set-up equipment prior to start time and ensure equipment is properly stored at the end of the shift
  • check in Event Staff and ensure staffing meets required level
  • inspect staff prior to start time to assure compliance with appearance standards
  • deploy Event Staff to assure all event areas open are properly staffed and maintained in clean and safe condition
  • direct Event Staff and respond to needs of the facility and guests
  • constantly walk facility during the event to inspect cleaning staff and service meets performance, quality and safety standards
  • check out Event Staff at the end of shift
  • stay on site until relieved by Post Event Manager
  • schedule Event Staff for upcoming events and communicate work schedules to Event Staff
  • maintain records for Event Shift including staff deployment form, sign-in/sign-out forms, equipment allocation, labor reports, time cards, inspection reports, team work schedules and safety reports
  • provide employee training and communicate company/client policies
  • maintain equipment in good condition
  • assist Office Assistant and Site Manager with hiring, interviewing, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions and payroll concerns
  • attend facility event planning meetings as directed
  • report maintenance and safety concerns immediately
  • report all accidents and injuries or incidents immediately
  • complete all other duties and service requests as assigned by Site Manager
