Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year work experience in hospitality industry
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to arrive punctually and prepared for shifts
  • Willingness to complete required annual training classes
  • Ability to use technology such as smartphones and the Dayforce mobile app
  • Physical ability to move freely between buildings and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and submit timely reports
  • Willingness to work overtime when required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year work experience in hospitality industry
  • Be familiar with area hotels, tourist areas, attractions, and airport
  • Have a positive, "can do" attitude with strong people and communication skills
  • Be knowledgeable with technology including smartphones, tablets, computers, and printers
  • Ability to respond quickly to Dayforce app push notifications
  • Comfortable navigating Dayforce mobile app for timekeeping and expense submissions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills and professionalism when dealing with clients and partners

Job Duties

  • Be friendly, professional, attentive and always treat others with dignity and respect
  • Know all details of the event staff agreement including reimbursable expenses, code of conduct, scheduling, and communications
  • Attend required annual in-person and online training classes and complete them by due date
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the details of assigned shifts and follow direction from the event manager
  • Have reliable transportation and be able to travel throughout the resident city, covering the first 25 miles on your own with the balance reimbursable
  • Be punctual and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts
  • Print schedule of services, group sign and/or program manifest
  • Bring a clear clipboard, counter/clicker, fully charged smartphone, phone charger, water, snacks, and meals
  • Arrive in uniform or wear an all-black short-sleeved shirt and black pants if uniform is not provided
  • Keep records of guest counts, driver details, and any pertinent event information and communicate updates to the event manager
  • Perform duties as per the schedule of services emailed prior to the event
  • Assist and support fellow event staff
  • Be attentive, patient, and professional when interacting with clients, hotel partners, and vendors
  • Be proactive in anticipating clients’ needs and ensuring an exceptional program and experience
  • Be reactive to issues that arise during the program
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of local destinations including fun facts and historical events
  • Use the Dayforce mobile app to clock in and out, confirm recorded hours, and submit expenses in alignment with the payroll calendar
