Job Requirements

  • Ability to handle payments according to credit card, cash, and check handling policies
  • Competency in using necessary software and audiovisual equipment

Job Duties

  • Answer phones, return voicemails, greet walk-ins, reply to emails, send and follow up on room contracts
  • Collect payments following university guidelines on handling credit cards, cash, and checks
  • Maintain the reservation books, door signs, weekly reports
  • Be comfortable with software programs needed to complete essential job functions
  • Learn and operate sound and video systems, laptops, and other required equipment
  • Interact with set-up team to ensure they have the correct details, help with set-ups, preparing with clean event space when required
  • Greet customers, answer questions, give tours, meet with clients to plan event details, and document
  • Help in operations at Hance Chapel by participating in memorial events, weddings, lectures, etc.
