Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-4 years event planning and management experience
  • Proficiency in database management and online fundraising platforms
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
  • Experience in nonprofit or development environment preferred
  • Familiarity with peer-to-peer fundraising strategies
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years of event planning, meeting, and event management experience required
  • Professional experience in development, nonprofit, events, public relations, marketing, or advertising desirable
  • Experience in peer-to-peer fundraising highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Manage the operational, logistical and administrative functions of Institute events
  • Serve as liaison to chairpersons and committees for Institute and external fundraising events
  • Maintain corresponding databases and identify new in-kind donor prospects
  • Create new fundraisers using online platforms and update fundraisers content
  • Support long-term event planning through retrospective analysis
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications for event promotion
  • Develop and adjust rules and guidelines for Festival of Trees vendors
  • Approve designs and price structures for Festival of Trees vendors
  • Coordinate sales, deliveries and resolve related complaints
