Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or above
  • minimum two years event planning experience or equivalent
  • detail oriented
  • ability to multi-task
  • maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • preference for knowledge of Asana or other project management tools
  • outstanding organizational skills
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • excellent administrative skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • fluency in English

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • proficient with Microsoft Office
  • knowledge of project management tools such as Asana preferred
  • outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to read and interpret policy and procedure manuals
  • ability to respond to employee and guest inquiries
  • fluency in English required
  • second language a plus
  • ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence
  • effective communication skills in one-on-one and group settings

Job Duties

  • Follow all Wynn Las Vegas core values and department standards
  • adhere to all internal policies and applicable federal and state laws
  • deliver and maintain a high level of property-wide service and satisfaction
  • contribute to company-wide communication and best practices
  • manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in high-pressure situations
  • assist in coordination of special events and promotions including development of supporting materials
  • execute event strategies and coordinate with internal partners for purchasing and scheduling of services
  • support events with clerical and administrative tasks
  • monitor budgets and evaluate event success for continuous improvement
  • coordinate with Safety department on onsite event planning
  • manage smaller events with limited guidance
  • oversee event setup, registration, guest greetings, and cleanup
  • propose gift and prize ideas for employee events and programs
