Job Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)
- experience in using AV equipment including screens, projectors, and microphone/speakers
- ability to take in and retain information

- ability to take initiative and ensure clarity on tasks

Job Duties
- The temp(s) will support the Policy, Strategy and Oversight team within the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) Division
- who are responsible for maintaining the fixed infrastructure of the Client including Track, Signals, Communications, Power, Stations, and Facilities
- This role would provide vital administrative
- support for planning and executing a semi-annual 2-week training and employee engagement
- program for all E&M employees as well as other duties, as assigned, to support employee safety
- Support the E&M Safety Series (ESS) program, a two-week full shift training event for all 1,400+ E&M employees
- Produce documents such as schedules, nametags, and feedback surveys
- Manage AV equipment set up and breakdown at classroom locations
- Restock training and event materials
- Create Excel files and manage data from different sources like feedback sheets and sign-in sheets
- Answer questions and provide directions to individuals throughout the event Schedule trainings
- Manage room reservations and instructor availability
- Coordinate with supervisors to ensure employees attend all mandatory trainings
- Notify employees and supervisors by Outlook calendar invites about future trainings
- Track participation in training events
- Schedule additional sessions for individuals who miss classes
- Upload training participation into the MBTA Learning Management System (LMS)
- Fulfill additional administrative tasks and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned by the E&M Policy, Strategy and Oversight team
- Most days the hours will be 8 AM-4 PM though there is flexibility to start earlier or later
