Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior clerical or administrative experience preferred
- ability to use office software for document preparation and data management
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- ability to perform physical activities such as lifting objects up to 10 pounds
- ability to stand walk bend and stretch for extended periods
- willingness to perform additional tasks as needed
- availability for full-time work at the Tampa Marriott Water Street location
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior administrative experience preferred
- proficiency with office software including word processing spreadsheets and databases
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- customer service orientation
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- basic physical fitness to perform required tasks
Job Duties
- provide administrative support to various hotel departments including guest services engineering and food and beverage
- prepare documents using word processing spreadsheet database and presentation software
- serve as liaison between the sales office and clients before during and after events
- maintain a safe and professional work environment by adhering to company policies
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and departments
- respond appropriately to employee concerns and report accidents or hazards to management
- assist with physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 pounds bending stretching and standing for extended periods
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
