Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in event or hospitality roles
  • Availability for non-standard hours including weekends and evenings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Proficiency in computer systems and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle audiovisual equipment or learn to do so

Job Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in event management or similar role
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills with customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency with computer/databases, experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfort with audiovisual equipment or willingness to learn

Job Duties

  • Serve as onsite point person during diverse events including fundraising galas, conferences, concerts, weddings, memorial services
  • Handle event-day logistics ensuring smooth execution and radical hospitality
  • Manage full client journey from inquiry to event completion
  • Conduct facility tours, create proposals, maintain client relationships
  • Track leads and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Coordinate with clients and vendors to develop event timelines and floor plans
  • Partner with Operations Team for setup and breakdown
  • Collaborate on contract processes including proposals, invoices, insurance certificates, permits
  • Maintain accurate event records and documentation
  • Serve as Boulder JCC ambassador providing exceptional care and hospitality
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns professionally
  • Work with Marketing Department to promote rental spaces
  • Conduct market research to identify competitive positioning and new service opportunities
