Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma
  • Minimum of three years' experience in event coordination hospitality or administrative support
  • Proficiency in GSuite MS Word Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

  • Demonstrated experience in event management administrative support or hospitality with a minimum of three years in a related role
  • Outstanding judgment and decision-making abilities to handle complex situations effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal to engage with diverse stakeholders confidently
  • Proficiency in GSuite MS Word Excel and Adobe Acrobat with the ability to quickly acquire new technical skills
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and managing physical aspects of space maintenance
  • A high school diploma is required with at least three years of experience in event coordination hospitality or administrative roles preferably within academic or high-tech environments

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee reservations for event spaces managing schedules and logistics to ensure smooth operations
  • Communicate effectively with event hosts to review work orders clarify policies and ensure readiness for upcoming events
  • Serve as a key resource for policies related to space use availability and safety protocols guiding users through reservation procedures
  • Safeguard building security by coordinating access for events programming doors elevators and loading docks as necessary while also ensuring spaces are secured afterward
  • Handle billing processes reconciling payments and managing related financial documentation accurately
  • Maintain the physical condition of event spaces by coordinating cleaning repairs and equipment maintenance including audio-visual setups and furnishings
  • Develop and implement policies and templates to streamline reservation workflows and enhance operational efficiency
  • Innovatively handle special requests for space use troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts to support diverse event needs
  • Adapt to evening and weekend work as needed to accommodate event schedules and operational demands
