Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in the hospitality industry
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- ability to handle confidential information
- willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed
Job Qualifications
- Understands the event process and key internal and functional responsibilities
- ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple projects with varying priorities and timelines
- provides high-quality guest and internal partner interaction by delivering a positive experience using Disney standards of quality
- supports the development and delivery of events that are major resort initiatives while collaborating with the Event Manager
- demonstrates strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- ability to handle confidential information
- prior experience in the hospitality industry
Job Duties
- Actively review all project timelines to ensure that the overall event objectives are met
- own the end-to-end registration process including creating and updating guest profiles in the Guest Service Suite system, monitoring RSVP reports, and booking travel arrangements and resort reservations
- provide internal communication items such as meeting minutes, event updates and overviews, action plans, budgets, timelines, merchandise counts, executive summaries, demographic reports, Standard Operating Guide (SOG), training materials
- prepare and distribute event communication pieces including Save the Dates, Invitations, Resort/Travel Confirmations, Welcome Packages, name badges, amenities
- abide by all guidelines and complete all steps related to asset receipt, distribution, reconciliation, and return
- provide guest assistance via phone and email, across multiple incoming phone lines and mailboxes
- coordinate Event Hospitality Desk and on-site check-in locations
- process and post guest and voucher payments, monitor balances and build guest invoices, create usage fee reports, track partner billing information, create final event revenue reports, and conduct monthly reconciliation across all accounts
- input and process credit cards for merchandise transactions and confirm payment receipts
- order updates for returned or canceled items
- order and distribute ticket media and parking passes
