Job Requirements
- Completed or pursuing a degree in Facility Management, Hospitality, Tourism or Sports Management
- Ability to make good decisions under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer experience with Microsoft applications and Excel
- Ability to meet physical demands including extensive walking, lifting and working in various conditions
- Licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work with limited supervision
Job Qualifications
- Completed or currently seeking a degree in Facility Management, Hospitality, Tourism or Sports Management or demonstrate equivalent industry work experience
- Ability to make good decisions under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Solid computer experience in Windows XP, Microsoft applications, and Excel
- Photoshop and AutoCAD experience preferred, not required
- Meet the physical demands of this job including personal mobility, lifting, working from various heights, and tolerance of moderate to loud noises
- Operate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office software
- Operate portable radio and standard office equipment including copier and printing plotter
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Work effectively under pressure and stringent schedules
- Maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment
- Licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
Job Duties
- Provide direct assistance to the Event Services department on load-in/out and event days
- Assist other departments with game day reports and projects
- Provide assistance in ensuring requests of the Lessee and requirements of their contracts are met while adhering to City of Glendale and stadium policies and procedures
- Assist in gathering event information in advance of events
- Plan and organize facility set up, on site assistance to staff and client during events
- Assist with placement of event signage for events
- Assist with wristband inventory management
- Oversee event day ejection processing and paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
