Job Requirements

  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-2 years experience in event coordination, wedding or social event planning, or related hotel food and beverage experience
  • menu and wine knowledge
  • Delphi experience preferred
  • strong time management skills
  • proven conflict resolution ability
  • experience in a luxury environment with guest satisfaction priority
  • flexible schedule availability including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • ability to stand/walk for extended periods
  • performs other duties and attends operational meetings as needed

Job Qualifications

  • experience within a hotel or resort environment
  • 1-2 years of event coordination or social/wedding event planning experience
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • menu and wine knowledge
  • strong time management and organizational abilities
  • proven conflict resolution skills
  • flexibility with schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • distribute detailed event orders
  • prepare group resumes and diagrams
  • oversee tasting and event planning meetings with clients
  • manage onsite event coordination
  • approve final group billing arrangements
  • ensure seamless communication between clients, planners, vendors, and hotel staff
  • address and resolve conflicts with professionalism and diplomacy
