Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as an event manager or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with long periods of standing
  • Availability to work frequent nights and weekends as determined by the venue's event schedule
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure
  • Willingness to comply with facility policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Schedule and manage day-of-event services staff
  • Interact with patrons in a friendly and helpful manner to enhance their overall experience
  • Advance events by meeting with clients to ensure a successful and smooth event
  • Ensure that the event is executed as planned, from setup to breakdown, and that all objectives are met
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed
  • Work with internal service partners to provide quality service to customers
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of directives to other departments
  • Maintain the proper image and generate positive public relations with patrons and staff
  • Address complaints and concerns from patrons and solve problems promptly
  • Implement facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ship and coordinate tour merchandise and process final settlement
  • Manage building safety and organize safety and compliance meetings to educate staff and ensure adherence to regulations continuously
  • Conduct staff meetings to coordinate schedules, discuss upcoming events, and address operational issues
