Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event services or related hospitality field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including availability on weekends and holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team player oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Proficiency in using booking and event management systems

Job Duties

  • Provide direction and supervision to affected departments and team members during event execution
  • Serve on-site group and catering customers proactively
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Communicate timely to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and manage complaints by negotiating and settling disputes
  • Maximize revenues through selling and influencing both internal and external clients
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • Ensure high quality service through communication, guidance, and coaching
