Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Three or more years of related experience in a multi-purpose, live entertainment venue
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in event planning and management
- Willingness to work flexible and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to manage complex schedules
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Event/Facility Management, Sports Management, or Business
- Preferred five or more years of related experience
- Experience with CAD software
- Leadership experience
- Ability to handle high-stress environments

- Three or more years of related experience in a live entertainment venue
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills both in person and electronically
- Experienced event planner and manager
- Willingness to work flexible and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Event/Facility Management, Sports Management, or Business
- Preferred five or more years of event management experience
- Skilled in CAD programs such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT
- Strong leadership skills with event staff and student workers
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Job Duties
- Lead and oversee the execution of events within the facility including concerts, sports, and private events
- Serve as the primary on-site decision-maker and Manager on Duty during events
- Coordinate and communicate event tasks to all departments and service providers
- Monitor events to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedule
- Manage staffing levels and submit staffing orders for events
- Prepare cost estimates and approve contractor payments
- Plan and lead meetings supporting event operations
- Create event plans containing all necessary information for departments
- Serve as client point of contact and manage client communications
- Develop and implement building access and occupant experience plans
- Create post-event summaries and update policies and procedures
- Research and recommend operational equipment and supplies
- Manage an established annual budget
