Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in event coordination or related field preferred
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- strong problem-solving skills
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge and adherence to brand standards and values
- capability to work both independently and as part of a team

- ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- previous hotel, catering, or event venue experience preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- experience with event software such as Social Table or similar
Job Duties
- Manage, plan, and execute assigned social events and day meetings including negotiation and conflict resolution
- provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive, solutions-focused atmosphere for clients and guests
- drive incremental revenue through strategic upselling of food and beverage offerings and event enhancements
- prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event resumes, and floorplans
- convey final details to Lead Event Specialist including final payments and vendor coordination
- communicate all event specifications and key details to internal departments for seamless execution
- ensure accurate and timely event actualization within 72 hours of program completion
- provide on-site event oversight for assigned events and support team during peak activities
- conduct and lead planning meetings, tastings, and pre-event meetings
- promote optimal use of event and function spaces to support revenue goals
- maximize revenue by promoting upgrades and available hotel services
- prepare external communications such as addendums and client-facing event documents
- perform all other assigned duties
