- Full-time management experience with schedule flexibility including weekends and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in general computer applications
- Highly creative, innovative, detail-oriented, and organized
- Minimum 4 years of hotel experience with thorough understanding of banquet service levels
- Demonstrated leadership skills including motivational leadership, effective communication, and training and development
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
Job Duties
- Support and manage the Event Services Department in partnership with the Food and Beverage Team and other hotel departments
- Supervise, empower, lead, coach, and motivate the Banquet team including captains, food servers, and lead house attendants
- Assist the hotel in achieving top service scores on Meeting Planner surveys through clear communication and coordination
- Ensure all functions and meetings are set up accurately and on time while maintaining food, beverage, and meeting standards
- Proactively assess and plan staffing and equipment needs to support successful event execution
- Ensure effective coordination and execution of events with Culinary, Stewarding, Catering and Convention Services, and Beverage teams
- Develop innovative and creative decor concepts for banquet function spaces
