Job Requirements

  • two or more years of event service manager experience in hospitality preferred
  • organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • knowledge of menu planning and food quality standards

  • vendor management experience
  • proficiency in computer applications such as Delphi preferred

Job Duties

  • act as liaison between clients national sales and hotel operations for event execution
  • create detailed event orders resumes and diagrams for social and corporate events
  • manage group billing and hotel room blocks
  • ensure exceptional customer service and anticipate client needs
  • plan menus ensuring quality and presentation standards
  • coordinate vendor management and problem solve event issues
  • promote upselling for profitability and maximize re-booking opportunities
