Job Requirements

- 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related area
- ability to assist and supervise physical room setup
- capability to execute events based on standards
- skills in team training and performance communication
- experience in managing inventories and assets

- proficient in coordination and liaison duties
- knowledge of sanitation and maintenance standards
- ability to handle guest feedback and complaints

Job Qualifications

- minimum 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area

- knowledge of event service standards
- ability to manage inventories and departmental assets
- problem-solving and customer service expertise
- familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
- capable of coordinating multiple departments and managing event logistics
Job Duties
- Assist in supervising team and assist in physical setup of function rooms including tables, chairs, dance floors, and podiums
- execute events based on standards and requirements
- develop and direct team to provide consistent, high quality service
- communicate performance expectations and train staff
- monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
- ensure Red Coat program compliance according to Catering Event Service standards
- delegate tasks to meet event service standards and timelines
- manage departmental inventories and assets including par levels and maintenance
- project department supply needs
- ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards
- coordinate routine maintenance for quality facility
- act as liaison between Banquets, Event Planning, Event Delivery teams, and group contacts during events
- review Diary weekly for space maximization
- ensure function rooms are set according to event documentation
- maintain presence with customers and solve problems or suggest alternatives
- set positive example for guest relations
- obtain guest feedback on service levels and product quality
- respond to guest problems and complaints
- empower employees to provide excellent service
- set service goals for event service supervisors and employees
- ensure employee understanding of expectations
- attend pertinent meetings
- lead shifts and participate in servicing events
- communicate and execute emergency and safety procedures
- conduct monthly department meetings
- schedule employees to ensure coverage and meet business needs and productivity goals
