Job Requirements
- Forklift certified at time of hire or obtain certification within six months
- able to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- criminal background check
- ability to work under supervision and in a team
- meet physical demands of job
Job Qualifications
- Two years of experience in convention center, theater, or cleaning methods
- supervisory experience preferred
- experience with event setup in public venues
- experience working with contracted temporary labor
- experience interacting with clients and the public
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- experience using computerized work order and event management information systems
- experience with motorized ride-on and cleaning equipment
Job Duties
- Assigning work to event service workers
- directing and participating in work progress
- inspecting completed tasks for quality
- overseeing event setup and teardown
- managing custodial duties during events
- coordinating with temporary and part-time workforce
- ensuring high levels of customer service and public interaction
