Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience preferably in hospitality or higher education
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Knoxville, TN

  • Preferred experience with customer service and cross-functional teams
  • Preferred program execution support experience
  • Preferred higher education and executive education experience
  • Event planning experience
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Facilitate on-site food orders, program setup, service and cleanup
  • Provide on-site support for degree programs including classroom preparation and technology needs
  • Collaborate with vendors and staff for delivery of services such as catering, transportation, hotel and logistical services
  • Maintain inventory, materials, furniture and supplies for GEE programs
  • Coordinate vendor payments with the Financial Information Office including invoice review and coding
  • Collaborate with Program Directors and faculty for successful execution of assigned on-site non-degree programs
  • Provide logistical and program coordination support for off-site non-degree events including coordination with faculty and vendors
