Job Duties
- Maintain future work schedules by assigning appropriately trained personnel
- implement and improve detailed tracking of staff training and certifications
- develop and implement staffing plans for emergency operations and workforce growth
- act in an event management capacity to ensure event staff effectiveness
- develop and implement quality assurance programs
- provide expert advice to resolve operational shortcomings
- participate in recruitment, interviewing, selecting, and training of new employees
- complete performance appraisals and handle employee grievances
- safeguard personnel information related to pay, benefits, and performance
- maintain onsite inventory of critical emergency supplies
- make decisions for staff scheduling to balance competencies and reduce overtime
- allocate open work shifts to maximize staff utilization
- submit procurement orders
- recommend productivity and cost reduction measures
- ensure timely submission of event calendars
- act as backup for event scheduling
- enforce company policies on timekeeping and breaks
- conduct disciplinary and counseling sessions with staff
- initiate termination procedures and complete documentation
- maintain high employee morale and low turnover through effective communication
- enforce event-specific policies and procedures through training and communication
