Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • knowledge of upscale or VIP service styles preferred
  • live within 25 miles of Wake Forest campus preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds
  • adherence to company uniform requirements and grooming standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as dictated by event schedules

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • knowledge of upscale or VIP service styles preferred
  • excellent listening and communication skills
  • strong customer service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs
  • ability to work alone and as a team
  • ability to learn and adapt quickly

Job Duties

  • Ensure the setting of suites, clubs, and buffets completely
  • set up for events, carry equipment, serve guests, and clean up at the conclusion of the event
  • quickly respond to guests needs
  • maintain proper dining experience and fulfilling customer needs
  • perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed
  • adhere to grooming and appearance standards
  • have knowledge of event menu items and their contents
  • set buffet stations which may include décor
  • run food to events as needed
  • serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly using proper serving and clearing techniques
  • perform other related duties as required
