Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet or event serving preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of event service
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down event spaces with precision and attention to detail
  • Serve food and beverages during private events with professionalism and efficiency
  • Greet and interact with members and guests in a warm, welcoming manner
  • Ensure tables are properly cleared, reset, and maintained throughout events
  • Execute formal banquet-style service including passed hors d’oeuvres and plated meals
  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding timing and flow of service during events
  • Handle special requests or dietary needs with discretion and accuracy
  • Operate POS systems when needed and follow proper billing protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both front and back-of-house areas
  • Collaborate closely with event leads, culinary staff, and fellow servers to ensure smooth execution
  • Participate in setup rehearsals, staff meetings, or walkthroughs when required
