Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of similar experience in a similar environment
  • a good understanding of event service, food, wine, beer, and cocktails
  • current Food Handlers Certificate
  • availability on demand
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • ability to balance and carry multiple plates, glass racks and or glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs

  • current Food Handlers Certificate

Job Duties

  • Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
  • exude warmth and friendliness, a passion for food and service, and a strong desire to pursue more knowledge and growth
  • able to understand guests’ needs and coordinate with teammates
  • ability to visually identify items and ingredients
  • run food from the kitchen to the event space on demand
  • assist with food and table prep before the event begins
  • serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including bottled wine
  • clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks
  • perform job functions with precision, speed, and accuracy
  • prioritize the minute details of service appropriately, and adapt to constantly changing priorities
  • maintain composure and remain calm under pressure, resolve problems using good judgment
  • maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
  • perform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success
