Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to handle multiple guest requests simultaneously
- Must adhere to grooming and uniform standards
- Must be capable of working under varying weather conditions
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Knowledge of wine and food pairings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by presenting menu or offering preselected items
- Have an expert understanding of the event's offerings, ingredients, preparation techniques and available substitutions
- Have an expert understanding of the event wines
- Identify special dietary needs and allergies and communicate to captains and staff
- Serve the needs of multiple guests and assigned tables simultaneously and assist other team members with their duties as well, if needed
- Abide by sanitation, health and company guidelines concerning safety, cleanliness, safe food handling and alcoholic beverages
- Observe and adhere to proper serving etiquette and techniques for the events team
- Maintain service pace by removing or delivering courses as completed, replenishing utensils if necessary, refilling water and wine glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- Address guest concerns promptly, politely and positively and alert captains and management team of any issues
- Attend meetings and trainings as requested by management, including pre-shift meetings
- Assist with training of new staff
- Adhere to grooming, conduct and uniform standards
- Prepare event space by setting tables, candles, napkins, service plates, glassware and utensils
- Fold napkins and polish eventware, set up stations, and prepare for the next shift
- Execute opening and closing procedures as directed
- Be comfortable with extreme weather during service
- Other duties as required
