Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or related field is advantageous
- Possess strong physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Exhibit excellent observational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively in a team and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Currently possess a valid Texas Private Security License Level 2 or higher or be willing to obtain one
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Job Duties
- Make a positive impact by maintaining a visible and professional presence to the standards of the client as well as BEST
- Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety
- Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, perform entry screenings, and stay vigilant to suspicious parties or situations
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies including medical emergencies and disturbances
- Collaborate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services to coordinate security efforts and resolve issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting attendees, answering questions, and offering directions
- Report any security related occurrences or incidents to supervisors, law enforcement, or medical personnel
- Create and maintain documentation of relevant activity and submit to leadership
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain professionalism and security effectiveness
