Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Must have earned or can earn valid CPR certification
- Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Able to work Pan American Center events as assigned

- Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends and select holidays, is required

Job Duties
- Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)
- Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned
- Conducts building safety inspections (normally pre-event and post event safety checks)
- Admits building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures
- Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed
- Protects arena equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule
- Provides regular security functions within the arena and related areas, prior to, during and after all events
- Responsible for clean and neat appearance
- Receives, records, and returns all lost and found items according to established team procedures
- When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the facility
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Event Managers and/or Guest Service Coordinator
