Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be an active-duty Cumberland County Deputy
  • Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Professional and customer-focused demeanor
  • Availability for event assignments

Job Qualifications

  • Must be an active-duty Cumberland County Deputy
  • Able to work events as assigned
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required
  • Ability to work beyond traditional business hours including nights, weekends, and select holidays is required
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude

Job Duties

  • Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues including fire and medical emergencies
  • Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned
  • Conducts building safety inspections, normally pre-event and post-event safety checks
  • Follow all established security procedures
  • Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed
  • Protects equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule
  • Provides regular security functions within the complex and related areas prior to, during, and after all events
  • Responsible for clean, neat appearance with complete CC deputy uniform
  • Turn in all lost and found items to the event manager on duty when applicable
  • When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the complex
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the management
