Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel once a year to the national sales conference
  • Ability to travel to Arizona for 5 days of training
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous sales or event planning experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of sales, hospitality, and event planning
  • Proficient in technology including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to embrace and apply feedback
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Experience in client relationship management

Job Duties

  • Respond to all event inquiries and turn those inquiries into booked events
  • Plan events for multiple venues and learn the features and benefits of distinctive properties and event options
  • Understand the unique needs of all types of events including corporate functions and social parties
  • Meet or exceed individual sales KPIs
  • Organize and manage a large rolodex of clients and multiple venues
  • Be the on-site contact for the operations team and host BEO meetings to ensure flawless execution
  • Actively manage client relationships during and after events to encourage repeat bookings
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays especially during busy seasons
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and coaching sessions maintaining professionalism on camera
  • Travel annually to the national sales conference and to Arizona for training
