Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in technology sales or hospitality
- Prior experience in audiovisual sales preferred
- Strong technical aptitude
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Must meet physical demands including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting
- Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in Encore or similar environment
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through consultative sales approach
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning, and venue meetings
- Understand event cost structure and design profitable solutions
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
- Maintain accurate and updated customer information in CRM system
