Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in technology sales or hospitality
  • Prior experience in audiovisual sales preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Must meet physical demands including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Encore or similar environment
  • 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning, and venue meetings
  • Understand event cost structure and design profitable solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Maintain accurate and updated customer information in CRM system
