Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- minimum one year of sales experience in technology or hospitality sectors
- proficiency with CRM systems
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- physical ability to meet job demands including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- willingness to travel between locations
- adherence to company appearance and conduct standards
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 1 year of experience in Encore or similar industry
- prior technology or hospitality sales experience preferred
- audiovisual sales experience is a plus
- knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes
- technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
- effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- attend site visits, pre-conference planning, and venue meetings to support customer events
- understand event cost structures and incorporate profitability guidelines
- cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and Encore departments
- research customer history to personalize experiences
- update customer information accurately in CRM
- maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure accurate sales forecasting
- learn and adopt SOPs and stay informed on new offerings and technology
