Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum one year of sales experience in technology or hospitality sectors
  • proficiency with CRM systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to meet job demands including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • willingness to travel between locations
  • adherence to company appearance and conduct standards

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 1 year of experience in Encore or similar industry
  • prior technology or hospitality sales experience preferred
  • audiovisual sales experience is a plus
  • knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes
  • technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • attend site visits, pre-conference planning, and venue meetings to support customer events
  • understand event cost structures and incorporate profitability guidelines
  • cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and Encore departments
  • research customer history to personalize experiences
  • update customer information accurately in CRM
  • maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure accurate sales forecasting
  • learn and adopt SOPs and stay informed on new offerings and technology
