Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of experience in sales, preferably in technology or hospitality sectors
- Ability to use CRM systems to track sales opportunities accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to meet job demands including moderate lifting and standing
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in Encore or equivalent sales environment
- Preferred 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes is preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support customer event experiences
- Understand event cost structures and incorporate profitability guidelines into solutions
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
- Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system at all times
