Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 1 year experience in sales or related field
- proficiency in technology sales or hospitality preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to use CRM systems effectively
- capacity to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call
- capable of meeting physical job demands such as sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
- strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach using Encore's sales process and methodology
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and other company departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs according to profitability guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal teams to deliver world-class service
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure all opportunities are accurately documented in the CRM system
