Job Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • One or more years of relevant sales experience
  • Technical proficiency and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role including standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Willingness to travel among multiple hotel locations

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines into solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM and update sales pipeline
