Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- minimum one year of related sales or hospitality experience
- ability to meet physical demands including sitting, standing, walking for several hours
- proficiency in using CRM systems and sales software
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- one or more years of experience with Encore or equivalent companies
- technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- prior audiovisual sales experience a plus
- knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Solicit and secure business through a proactive consultative sales approach
- prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support customer events
- understand event cost structure and design solutions for profitability
- cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
- maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system
