Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales, technology sales, or hospitality
  • Proficient with CRM systems and sales methodologies
  • Ability to prepare and present sales proposals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to meet job demands such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
  • 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate into solution designs
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure accuracy of CRM data
  • Support sales forecasting and adopt standard operating procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of new products, service offerings, and technology
