Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • One or more years of relevant sales experience preferably in audiovisual or hospitality
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Ability to work irregular hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role including sitting standing walking and occasional light lifting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support customer events
  • Understand event cost structures and incorporate profitability guidelines into solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the customer relationship management system
