Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum one year of sales or related experience
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to meet physical demands of the job including moderate lifting
- Ability to travel between multiple hotel locations
- Commitment to company core values and customer service excellence
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year experience in audiovisual, hospitality, or technology sales preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Ability to deliver world-class service
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability
- Effective collaboration and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and other company departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
- Maintain an updated and accurate CRM system to ensure sales accountability
